Wynne Home

Victoria Cardenas is the current President of the Friends of the Wynne, the support organization for the Wynne Home Arts and Visitor Center. While attending SHSU, she served as an intern for the City of Huntsville and earned her bachelor’s degree in Political Science from SHSU in 2019. Victoria attended Duquesne University School of Law in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She returned to SHSU after law school and currently serves as an on-campus attorney in the university’s Student Legal & Mediation Services office, where she provides students with legal assistance and guidance on a variety of legal issues.

Olivia Discon is the current Treasurer of the Friends of the Wynne and is a frequent volunteer at the Wynne Home Arts and Visitor Center. She graduated from SHSU in May of 2026 with her bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Public Affairs at The Bush School of Government and Public Service at Texas A&M University.
